Before you install the Client upgrader, you first have to have the Server upgrader installed. See Client Upgrade Overview for more information. |
Installing the Metrix Client Upgrader
- If you haven't already done so, download the Metrix Server Upgrade installer from http://metrix.fcny.org
.
- Launch the installer by double-clicking the downloaded file.
- Click Next.

- Click Next.

- Select the I accept the terms in the license agreement option and click Next.

- Type your name and organization and click Next.

- Click Next.

- Select Upgrade existing Metrix client and click Next.

- Click Install.

- Click Start Wizard.

The Metrix Server is installed. The next series of steps will take you through configuring the files. For more information about configuration see Metrix Architecture Explained.

Configuring the Metrix Client Upgrader
- Click Next.

- Select Upgrade and existing Metrix client and click Next.

- Locate the Metrix file and the server files and click Next.

- Select the server, enter your password, select the database and click Upgrade.

The default password for the sa user name is admin. |

- Click Finish.
